Hi guys. I'm thinking of slowly saving up and getting xx1 and need to know if I can use the xx1 cranks with my 10 speed system. (Only until I've saved up for the rest.) I also need to know what q factor I need.

The cranks will work fine (chain is the same internal-width as 10-spd). Q-factor is dependent on what frame you have, but there are few frames that can accept the narrowest.

Worth noting that the cranks are probably the least worthwhile part of the groupset - you can use any narrow/wide ring, and the XX1 cranks aren't that light.

Meh, they're flat nude carbon, not hugely objectionable!
