ESTA info

I will soon be going to the USA and am filling in the ESTA form, i will be flying to Amsterdam then on to Minnesota, the ESTA form its looking for my flight number so do i put in the first flight or second flight number or does it not really matter?

    The second, the one that lands in the States that's your departure airport for the States.

    The amount of times I've been at the airport and seen people crying as they didn't have an esta.

    It lasts for two years so make sure you sign up for the reminder email.

    The second flight - why would they be interested in a flight to Amsterdam when it's a US visa?

    You would be surprised at what the homeland securities are interested in.
    I was once refused entry to the USA after a recent trip to Cuba !
    The fix was to get a new passport.

    FTFY. I once got caught out by that when I arrived at the airport for a business trip. Fortunately the internet cafe was close at hand.
