Just bought some shimano acera disc brakes for my Vulcan build - cheap I know but it's a budget build for a work hack or might make it my wife's bike.
Anyway the discs say resin pads only. Does this mean I can't use organic or sintered pads??
Thanks
Chris

Use what ever you want. If they are squeaky sintered often are a better option. Resin are organic."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Due to a breakage using these brakes this week in dalby and have no spare pads for it.
Do I go sintered organic Kevlar?0 -
Personal preference, but I like the Kevlar.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0
