105 Cable Ferrules
This may be another dumb question from me, but as I build up my bike, I realise Shimano have me stumped with their lack of clearly labelling what parts are for. In particular the ferrules/ends that have come with the 15 gruppo
See below
When putting bikes together in the past, I have just needed the style on the far right when I've bought a load of Jagwire bits. However, all three of the gear outers came with what I would call a normal ferrule on one end and on the other a plastic ferrule with a thinner piece (2nd from right). It also came with the 3 rubber ferrules (the three on the left)
So what goes where please? The normal ferrules are the only type that will go in the downtube barrel adjusters and the plastic ones don't appear to fit in the shifters. Or am I at the point of just going out to get some normal ferrules? Thanks

Rubbers go over the stiky out bit. Normally these seals and feruls are used where stuff can get into them.
As shown in the manual fitting info.

Sticky out bit does not need to be used and can be pulled out."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
