Just a quick question. Fancy trying some offset bushings in my bike to see what difference a slack head angle and lower bb height would make so what I was wondering is........ are the eye bushings currently in the shock supposed to stay in the shock and the offsets fit inside these? That is all :D

You remove the fitting kit. And put in the new ones.
The place the old ones somewhere easy to find. The order some new DU bushes and tools to fit them.

As the offset fitting kit will soon have worn them selves and the DU bushes out as the keep rotating as the shock moves through its travel.

Bad design badly I put together.

But to answer the bushes stay in place. What you are buying are not bushes they are reducers or the fitting kit. The bush in a shock is a small thin DU bush that needs a suitable tool to be removed or fitted.
