When is the best time of year to tackle the rangers path at Snowdon? I know there is the moratorium on cycling between 1st of May to the 30th September each year.

We did it the first Monday in October but it was still busy with walkers (up the Llanberis down the Rangers)
Be aware that there was a lot of work being done to the Rangers path & the trail is obstructed by large bags of stones a few weeks back.

I went in July. I set off at 7am and reached the summit and returned before the voluntary bike ban comes into force. The looks of the people on the train were hilarious!
