Hi,
Need an advice on suspension seat posts.
Does anyone know all suspension posts are adjustable for most of the weights of the driver? If not, how can I check for which weight are they built for?
I've seen some weight restrictions while searching online for some suspension seatposts...for example 80-100kg

Why are compacts such a big advance when you can get the same gear ratios with a triple crank which have being around awhile before compacts?But you know what - just about the only development in bike technology in the last 40 years that has really made a real difference has probably been the compact crankset.

With a 50/34 up front and an 8 speed 11/32 on the back the lowest gear ratio is virtually 1:1, if tacling high gradients is an issue. Comes in at the £400 budget and no need to change any gearing.0 -

Reputation I guess? The old macho thing that you only rode a triple because you were somehow too weak to manage with a standard crank. Then of course the compact lets you pretend you've got a standard crank whilst having lower gears.
I wouldn't say the compact is that much of an innovation in gearing, I would put that at wider range cassettes meaning you can a big range.0 -
