Broken Spoke Repair - SE1
Set out for a few laps of Richmond park on sunday but half way there realised I have a snapped spoke on the back wheel and limped home.
Could do with getting it sorted this week so i can get out on the bike at the weekend so that means bringing it in to work and taking it somewhere in southwark/London Bridge/Waterloo area.
Anyone have a place they recomend? I guess evans are the obvious choice. They wheels are pretty old so no doubt the remaining spokes need a bit of a look to see if any others are on the way out too.
It's an Alex XD lite wheel on shimano disc hubs, I think probably Tiagra or 105 from 2008 or so. I take it that most bike shops would carry an array of spoke sizes so they'd have something suitable in stock? The current spokes are black but to be honest I don't much care about having one silver spoke as long as it's fixed.
thanks,
Mark

Check out http://druidcycles.co.uk/ They are on Roper Lane just off Tower Bridge Road.
Far less busy than Evans and should be able to sort you out. Give them a call ahead of time just to check.Aran0 -
