Other than that, try and find some Recon Solo Airs in sales - check Merlin Cycles, JeJamesCycles, Chain Reaction, etc.0 -

Well they will with a new lower headset bearing. But I certainly wouldn't be considering them if I were the OP.
Epicons or Recon Golds, the Silvers are OK but quite heavy and the Epicon is a better option.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -

Thanks for all the info, look,s like the epicons will be the ones. Them and a set of new tyres that will do both road and off road then see where I go from there.
