Rash on my legs

Hi all

Sometimes (like today) I get a funny bright red rash all over my legs after riding, only when it's cold though. It's itchy as hell but can't be (say) a lycra allergy as I don't get it every day and it's only on my legs. Antihistamine doesn't do any good.

I wear dhb Roubaix tights.

Any ideas????

It's just a hill. Get over it.

    cold rash ...

it's where the blood is coming up to the surface - quite normal (for me too) ... if you're getting it too much then put another layer on over the top and keep those legs warmer!

Maybe that Bletchley Plod that you got into an argument with secretly pepper-sprayed you as he drove off.

+1 cold rash. Just wear thicker tights until the weather warms up a bit.

    Phew

I can live with that, bit of MTFU needed as it's not that cold, saw a chap in shorts this morning

I mean I know you get warm when you get the heart pumping/blood flowing and all that but shorts minus tights in this weather is a no-no!

I think it's a rash caused by a distinct lack of MTFU.

What's wrong with wearing shorts. I don't wear tights until the temperature drops well below 0.

Legs are perfectly suited to a bit of cold weather, and, at the moment, tights are just another thing to get soaking wet.
