Bottom Bracket Confusion

Could someone explain this to me?

On the chainset below it recommends a BB of 103mm or 108mm.

Isnt this quite a difference? 5mm. Why choose one over the other?

Chainset info:

    If you looked up the BB part numbers you could have seen this.

  • Thanks for the reply, makes sence, but why give specs on a powerdrive BB for a Square taper chainset?
