Another new wheels thread I'm afraid!

Hi all,
I'm currently building up an old Scott Nitrous 10 Frame that I bought off of a friend for a good price and have been basically keeping old parts that have since been upgraded from my Norco DH bike.
The plan is to build this frame into a kind of cheap(ish) DH bike to learn tricks on and just generally a bike that can take a beating and let me keep my Norco in good condition for trips away.
With this in mind would anyone be able to advise on a set of wheels for the build? The fork has a 20mm Axle and the rear is a 9mm QR (weird mix I know) and I would be running 26 x 2.5 inch tires. I was once told that there is a trinity for wheels (light, strong and cheap) and you are allowed to choose two of the three. If this is indeed the case then Strong and Cheap would be the two I would pick.
In terms of budget the absolute most I would want to spend would be £300 but ideally near £200.
Thanks all

I had been looking at that page actually, however knowing nothing about wheels (never had to buy a set before) I don't know what is best/worth the cash etc.
Also I had heard that Superstars bearings can be a bit dodgy? Is this true or just a myth?2010 Norco Shore 2

I don't do DH so couldn't say what is best for you.
Not idea about bearings being dodgy but they are easily to find and replace. The build quality can be a bit hit and miss, 3 out of 4 of mine needed to be re-tensioned but that wouldn't put me off buying more.0 -
Ok sounds good then, did you send them to Superstar to be retensioned or do it yourself/LBS?
Looking at these at the moment:

For the price I reckon they will be pretty hard to beat2010 Norco Shore 2

I got my lbs to do them, Superstar would have done them for free but I wanted to be 100% sure they were right, the guy that does my wheels is very good and very cheap + 10mins from my house.0
