Generally positive views on it..not sure how many have actually bought it thoughTell the stars I'm coming,
make them leave a space for me;
whether bones, or dust,
or ashes once among them I'll be free0 -
Friend has one, likes it - bit more racey than a Dirty Disco which he has too. Probably the best deal at £999 and decent upgrade platform. Asking if it's any good depends on what you're planning to do with it?Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

It's going to be a bit of a do it all bike! Predominantly it would be a commuter, some occasional gravel path / canal path / light trails and a weekend training bike and the odd sportive thrown in.
Initially I was looking at a Giant Defy 1 but whilst there spotted the TCX slr2 at £1000 with a 105 group set and was drawn towards it due to the discs however I received an email a couple of days ago showing Planet X doing virtually the same bike as the TCX but with a carbon frame!0 -

Should do all those things. But no option for mudguards, if that's important.My blog: http://www.roubaixcycling.cc (kit reviews and other musings)

As long as it has some gears, you'll be ok.I'm sorry you don't believe in miracles0 -

Actually I did the Bristol-London Action 100 ride last year and there were a couple of riders on singlespeeds!!! :shock:0 -
Gearing will be fine, unless you need super low, which you shouldn't. And 46/11 is big enough for anything except racing down hills.0

Equivalent to the 50/34 Tiagra pact gearing on my Allez?0 -
Depends on your cassette, you can compare gear inches using this. (make sure you enter tyre size):

It's likely you won't have quite as low a gear with the CX but it won't be a huge difference.0
