Giants power core BB replacement

Wee bit advice needed going to replace the SRAM cranks on my Giant trance x 29er to shimano and wondering what type of BB it uses i think its shimano BB-91 but giants web page just says "powercore", i take it thats just there terminology for BB-91, i take it i need i new as using SRAM cranks just now as converting ???? many thanks

PowerCore is the name for the technology they use to construct the bottom bracket shell and how it interfaces with the downtube.

The bottom bracket on the frame is the now standard 41mm diameter BB shell. All you need is a SRAM PressFit GXP MTB BB

You could also upgrade to a Hope BB with GXP adaptors if you like.

Coincidentally, it's the same style of BB that comes on your TCR only using a different width.

That will work fine, thats the XTR/Dura-Ace level BB. You can also use the BB71 which is the XT/Ultegra Level BB

You can get is out without the proper tools, but you should either have it installed by an LBS or get a press tool to fit it. The cups are only resin and you can ruin them if you go for a ghetto method of using a hammer.

Answer my own question yes they do thanks for all your help now to buy the tools or let lBS do the job
