Failed seat post

While riding my On One Pompino home from work yesterday my seat post failed. Specifically the metal part that holds the saddle rails and bolts to the actual post sheared.
It's an Alu Planet X post 27.2 mm. I don't really want to pay for a PM entire new post and have tried to source a replacement "metal bit" but am struggling.
Any guidance would be most appreciated, however it may be that I have to bite the bullet and buy a new seat post...

Had a similar think happen with an ITM seatpost. The bolt sheared of, & I lost the custom shaped top bolt nut bit somewhere on the road, had to buy a whole new seat post. :x
At least your seat post is a common size mine was 27.00mm.0 -
I suspect you will struggle to find a replacement part - would be easier to take the hit and buy a new post IMO...0

The clamp is usually* an integral part of the seatpost; you have to replace the whole thing.
*unless it's one of the USE types with 2 bolts that go through a short metal bar that goes in turn through the seatpost front to back, and said bolts thread into a 3 part clamp that all falls to bits when you take the thing off. I have seen those sold as spares.
