Did this one last year. A good and well organised event.
Hope that you have ordered some warmer weather this time?"You really think you can burn off sugar with exercise?" downhill paul0 -
Charlie I cant guarantee it, however it is 3 weeks later than last year so that is in our favour.
Hope to see you again on the start line!BMC TM01 - FCN 0

I spent all my formative years up that way. Pretty villages ............ can't think of any hills around there so should be very fast. I'll try and make the date if I can.0

This is only a few weeks away now!
Loads of space for more riders!
Lets make it the biggest and best Easter Classic on memory!
For just £12 you get:
a fully signed ride
timing chips
loads of food (we appear to be having some kind of bake off in our club for the event)
friendly marshals
and you get to ride a lovely course in beautiful weather!

It is undulating rather than pan flat.
Assuming it is the same route as last year?"You really think you can burn off sugar with exercise?" downhill paul0 -
Hope weather is better than last year!
My first ride over 50 miles, and ended up with a numb green todger that took 7 hours to recover
Learnt about bib tights since!!
Like you say, was part of my prep for RL100 - Its the wifes turn this year, so I will be dragging her around.0 -

Brilliant planning with the weather, and the date based flapjacks were fabulous.
Todger still intact this year, and the Mrs very chuffed with 14 mile average (and the functioning danglybits!!)
Great event - thanks a lot0 -

On the way out, I was a bit confused to see a bloke with a boom microphone (is that what it's called? a microphone on the end of a stick covered in loads of grey fluffy stuff, like you would use on a film set) standing in a field. Presumably I then saw the same bloke with the same microphone again on the way back, this time on the green in Matching Green. Any idea what that was about?0

I also saw boom man! Unsure. My guess was recording bike SFX for future use for video or something.0
