anti-seize?

I've just got a new titanium frame, I'm temporarily using an aluminium seatpost shim and have a couple of questions:

1. Is using an alu seatpost shim in a titanium frame ok? If so, should I use anti-seize on the outside of the shim to stop it seizing?
2. When I get the right size carbon seatpost, should I use anti-seize on the carbon post?
