Anyone use it ?
Thinking of some new armour for DH and like the look of lighter, more flexible options
However, finding it hard to break away from thinking that hard plastic armour is better than D3o
Happy to hear thoughts from those that use it/have used it
Current leaders are the Bluegrass Grizzly and Scott Drifter vests
cheers

Can't comment on the bike wear side of things but I use the beanie on site as and when I'm allowed and I can honestly say that it has saved my life. A brick got kicked off a third lift scaffold a hit me on the side of the head and ricocheted right off!!!!! granted the brick broke my collar bone on the way through but my head didn't even have a scratch. I'm interested to see what people have to say on the body armor0

This would be the only choice for mehttp://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mo ... -prod82726
Most troy lee kit is overpriced but this isn't bad value and very good qualityTransition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Yep. After years of using the top end 661 I couldn't believe how much more comfortable this kit is. I have crash tested it a few times and still in one piece.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

D3O is excellent stuff. The only thing it doesn't do as well as hard armour is protect against penetration - as far as energy absorbtion goes it's superior to hardshell armour.0
