Quite frankly, looks awesome. I'm interested in trying both Cwmcarn and Afan, but do you think there is sufficient variety at Afan to spend two days on the trails there?0

Yeah I'd say there probably is enough for 2 days riding at Afan now penhydd and blade are open. You could do w2 1 day and blade and penhydd another? Plus playing on the bike park bit and maybe going blue scar too?0

Steve was saying the other day that apparently Blade has been made in such a way that you can actually integrate it with Skyline to make a big, day-long ride. Doing that one day and W2 the next should be enough for even the fittest riders, but if you find yourself twiddling your thumbs, you'd still have the Penhydd and Blue Scar trails in the bank, so yes, 2.5 days' riding easily at Afan alone, now.0

Thanks, that seems a lot more convenient than hacking it between the parks.0

There's some good stuff in the Brecons but conditions can get pretty wild very quickly.
There's easily enough for two days at Afan or Bike Park Wales. They are quite different and if you want to stay firmly on the ground Afan is probably best. After a full day riding you can spend any excess energy on the 4x track or the bike park type trail.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350 -
Thanks for all the input chaps. We did Whites, crossing to the Wall (Not quite all of W2 as we got confused!), Blade and Penhydd over 2.5 days. My companions were pretty rusty, so we took it lazily, but boy am I jealous of what you have there. Stoked for returning and attacking it properly. We were warned off Blade due to mud, but it was fine and loads of fun, with a nice sting in the tail back down to the centre.0
