So Im getting my new sl4 built at the concept store and the mechanic has called me up to say the cranks are incompatible with osbb according to specialized but I've seen many sl4s with rotor 3d+ cranks and even the contador fundacion team is sponsored by them, I know c bear offer a solution which means I'd have to fork out £130, can anybody shed a any light on this? I think it's just a case of spacers no?

  • Not really dealt with rotor or specialized but my understanding is that 3d+ is the same as 386evo and campag overtorque, a 30mm shaft approx 90mm long. Specialized OSBB is PF30 (or is it BB30?) by another name. Plenty of people make the bits for them to go together, just a matter of spacers or go fancy and use something like http://www.rotorbike.com/products/road/bb30-frame_41.
