I know this was discussed on the Marseillaise thread but this coverage is really good (44mins):

Witness the full horror of Amore y Vita at 1:05.
Major fail by Bardiani - the whole team dragging the race along and then they all blew up on the final climb.
Good effort by 21 year old Davide Formolo of Cannondale - dropped the front group with only Rabottini hanging on. Must have been delighted when they were joined by 2 other Yellow Fluo...
Sinkewitz racing for Meridiana Kamen also bridged - is there a PED he wasn't taken?

Ponzi (Neri Sottoli) wins solo just ahead of 24 riders in the front group.
1 PONZI Simone Neri sottoli.it - Yellow Fluo 4:24:27
2 FINETTO Mauro Neri sottoli.it - Yellow Fluo 0:08
3 PASQUALON Andrea Area Zero Pro Team
4 RABOTTINI Matteo Neri sottoli.it - Yellow Fluo
5 PARRINELLO Antonio Androni Giocattoli
6 KOREN Kristjan Cannondale
7 ANDRIATO DE MATTAS Rafael Neri sottoli.it - Yellow Fluo
8 PIBERNIK Luka Radenska-Kuota
9 BARBIN Enrico Bardiani
10 WACKERMANN Luca Lampre - Merida

What, just because Wackermann has an even better surname? He needs to speak to his mum for marrying the wrong bloke ...

Weren't the UCI satisfied that his high level was au naturel?

Ah yes sorry, just read up on it a bit. He was quarantined in Koln for a while, and it turned out to be natural. Sorry!
