Axiom Streamliner racks

I've been looking for options for racks as I have no eyelets/braze on mounts on my frame. I'm particularly impressed by the axiom streamliner racks (the disc one mainly, as it has a slightly wider and more usable top bit than the pure road version).
I've read some very mixed reviews, though, with some saying it's absolutely amazing and others saying it collapses at the merest hint of a bump.
I wondered if anyone here had any experience with the rack and whether it was suitable for light touring (~10kg would be carried on it at one time).
