Eastway CX 1.0

Hi there,

Does anyone have experience of the Eastway CX 1.0? Full carbon CX bike with rival grouppo and I can get it for £1,078.

Very tempted to go for it but the lack of reviews is putting me off!

    Any thoughts to share?
    The alternative to this would be a Specialized Crux Disc or a Focus Mares AX 1.0.

    I am sure there is a review of this bike in Cycling Active! Not got it on me (not even sure why I bought it!), I may be able to get a look tonight, seemed positive. Its was more 2k than 1k though???

    Have you looked at the PlanetX range?

    I don't have a proper cross, but do currently ride a TriCross, which I enjoy. So temtped to swich the frame over to a light weight Alu/Carbon CX frame with discs or even sort of 29er with ridgid forks, but there is something about the TriCross that I like, depsite its Cantis and laid back ride.

    Hey there - I could get it for the 1K price on Wiggle - but posted abroad! (I work in Brussels)

    Went for the Focus in the end - £1200 with a mix of Force and Rival groupset - lovely colours - quite a unique bike!

    Thanks for your input. Looking forward to taking it off road soon.
