Ns Bikes Clash

Hey,
I'm quite interested of these bike. I'm buying the 2013 model of the Clash 1. It is second hand bike and the fork is modded to 160mm. I've already read the bikeradar review of this bike, but I would like some other opinions too. Have anyone ridden one these or owns one?
I used to have Kona Cadabra, but it was stolen... So now I'm looking for a new bike and this Clash seemed really interesting. As my riding is quite a lot of jumping, playing around, when riding around. So would need a ''Do-it-all'' bike. And I want to try out a hardtail for a change. So any comments to Clash?

I can't remember what the other NS bikes hard tail is called, but I think it would be more suitable as a do it all trail bike as the Clash is very dirt jump orientated0

Surge? Or there's the new one - Eccentric0

Yeah, eccentric is the more trail oriented model, but as I sometimes go ride dirt jumps during longer rides just for fun, or ride a bit DH, or even street, whatever I'm in mood of doing. So therefore I thought Clash would suite me better. And I would get a really nice one second hand, which would be very affortable. Still waiting though what the insurance company says about my last bike. I don't know yet will they ''buy'' me a new or replace it with money. As insurance should cover it, because it was locked when it got stolen.0

Thing is the eccentric is reasonably hardcore, (140mm fork) and is more forgiving on roots and rocks for DH as a bit less stiff. I wouldn't hesitate using it on dirt jumps personally by the looks of it0

I would go with the Eccentric. It's a great and soft bike (steel frame)0

Always go steel for hardcore/downhill/freeride hardtail. Steel flexes more and is less prone to cracking and when it does crack it's easy to weld.
Downhill and freeride on a hardtail is lots of fun, just ride smooth and fast or get on first name terms with the nurses at your local A&E!Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
