Off set bushings??

I've just installed some off set bushings on my five. Now the holes on the bushings have to face inwards towards the shock to slacken head angle, but how do you know if you have holes in the exact place?
When inserting the shock and bushes back into frame mounts, the bushings tend to move/swivel a bit as it is a tight fit, so once lined up with frame mount you do not actually know if the bushing holes are in the exact place they should be.

Hope the above makes sense. Is there a correct way of ensuring holes are in correct place?

They will move as the angles change and wear out the DU bushes faster than a fast thing so it does not matter.

  • better of with a works components angleheadset... as nickouse said offset bushing kill DU bushes, I'm sure I wore a set in about 2 months with offset bushes.

Burgtec supply DU bushes that are long lasting, so will use those once my others wear out.

Still don't last as the offsets wear just as fast.

It is an idea that was not thought out and just does not work as they thought it would.

If the shock worked linearly then there would be no rotation going on and they would be fine. But....

They lasted four whole rides in my old Reign X. I'm not convinced that offset bushes will ever last because they are constantly trying to spin.
