Drilling frame for Stealth Dropper

Thinking of drilling a hole in my Stumpy frame to take a stealth dropper post. Does anyone known of any frame builders that can strenghten frames so that I don't die.

    Unless your frame is very weak already, or made of carbon, you'll be fine.... In my experience.

    Ive read of a few people doing this...

    One guy actually emailed Santa Cruz before drilling a hole for his and they replied saying "we cannot advise this, but if we were to drill a hole, we would drill it here" and included measurements of where to drill and what size to drill the hole. :lol:

    Clearly they were just covering their arses, but it sounds as though they didnt really have an issue with it.

    As has been stated, I wouldn't worry unless it's carbon, but try enlarging a bottle boss, frame strengthening seems like a whole lot of bother
