Garmin HR Stopped working

I have a Garmin HR strap that I use with my Garmin 500 and also on TrainerRoad via an Ant+ Dongle.

All was fine until Monday came and neither were picking up the HR strap. So, thought it was battery issues. Changed battery and still not picking it up.

Anyone had similar?

I contacted Garmin and they basically got my email, didnt read it and sent a standard response back on erratic HR readings. :roll:

    is it the old all black 'soft strap' one? I have one which has been fine for ages, but I do understand there is a known fault with them which stops them working - hence why the new ones have a grey strap.

    TR did do an update and you had to re-pair your kit - but that was just yesterday - not Monday.
