Shimano Long Reach Brake Calipers BR451

Is it worth changing the calipers on my winter bike from BR450 to BR451? I've recently had to replace the shifters with Shimano 5700 which have the new changed cable pull. I noticed that braking felt weaker from the hoods with the new shifters and wonder if the BR451, which are designed to match the 5700 levers, will have significantly better performance than the BR450s? Any insight appreciated.

    Answering my own post here, but from looking at the Shimano docs, there is no difference between BR-R450 and BR-R451 other than the latter is available in black. Compatibility is still at the "Super SLR" level, not the "New Super SLR" level of the 5700 stuff. Would have been a total waste of time and money to change!
