Inexpensive computer with Heart Monitor function ?

Anybody know of a keenly priced unit with a heart monitor function, cadence is not important .

  • you said keenly priced, so I'm guessing you mean as cheap as possible whilst giving you what you want? I can't make any specific recommendations except to say this. I use a cheap Aldi computer and moniter, generally it does the job, but be aware there are limitations with very cheap computers and HR monitors. Mine is fine most of the time but is subject to interference from outside sources which can affect my readings, also, my HR monitor has a very short range, if you're taller and sit up, it may be enough for you to lose your HR reading! For a not much more money there are computers that can protect from interference from power-lines and such, so before you buy I'd have a little Google to review any recommendations.
