On the 23rd February 2014 Stafford Road Club is hosting its annual Reliability – which is open to all. Riders have a choice of a 67 mile and 48 mile route - both start and finish at Stafford Rugby Club.
Signing-on will take place from 8.45am to 9.10am at the Stafford Rugby Club, Newport Road St16 1GB. Entry fee is £3 / rider with a welcome hot drink and cake waiting for riders when they return. All profit be used to subside many of the other club events run each year.
Every year this event is becoming increasing popular and with 130 plus participants taking part in last years event so we have staggered the start time to avoid one large group of riders on the road at anyone time. On the day riders can sign on and then head off when they are ready in their own groups, or to tag along with other groups (8 to 18 riders is the optimum number for safety). But please remember that this event is not a race and all participants must adhere to the Highway Code at all time.
This event is “Open to all” and not just Stafford Road Club members. So please come along and join in the fun. All you need is a bike in good working order, helmet, a strong heart, legs and lungs and a little bit of determination. Anyone under the age of 18 should be accompanied by an adult or has a signed parental consent form.
