Bontrager Race X Lite - freehub 11spd?

Hi
A mate of mine has a fairly new set of RXL wheels with the DT Swiss Hubs in 10spd, just got an 11 spd groupset and wants to know if you can get an 11spd freehub on these wheels or if he would need to start again? I haven't got a clue so i thought i'd ask here. Any ideas?
