Yorkshire Cross Events

After many yeasr mountain biking and stepping into the world of road cycling a couple of years ago, I've now bought my first CX bike. :D

I was searching the internet and came across the Yorkshire Cross website. Does anyone know if the Summer Series will be running this year? I work in Bradford so many of the 2013 races were pretty local.

I live in South Yorkshire so are there any other events to consider in South Yorkshire/Norths Notts/Derbyshire area?

    I think there is a summer cross series every year. The winter season hasn't QUITE finished yet as there is still the end of season madison on 9th Feb.

    They are quite active posting new dates on Twitter nad facebook so best to follow them to get the first news on the summer series.

    A quick date or two for your diaries - the 2014 YCCA Summer Series looks likely to commence on Weds 30 April, with races every other Wednesday until 6 August. Plus several Sunday events. We'll be cutting the number of results you'll need to count for the whole series to reflect the high number of events/holiday clashes etc - so hopefully everyone can get the most out of the series without feeling compelled to "chase" points. More soon!
