Hi there.

I have a Cube AMS 130 SLR (2011 model). The press fit bottom bracket is nackered and I would like to buy a new Hope one as I've heard they are more durable than Shimano ones.

I cant find the bottom bracket spec for my bike but the newer cube AMS bikes are BB91 PF41 so I assume mine is the same.

The Hope website says their bottom brackets fit BB92, BB89.5 and BB86.5 frames..... will any of these be compatible with my BB91 PF41 frame??

Thanks in advance.
Dave

    Maybe.

But they are much more expensive too.

Personally I'd stick with a Shimano

The Hope ones are magic, the Shimano ones are sh one t.

If you fit it yourself, you will need the special tool. For reference, I used Park Tool's grease as suggested by Hope.

The Hope PF41, does come with a spacer and fairly good instructions.

If I were you, I would measure the BB shell with a pair of vernier callipers and use one of the charts.

That said, if the ID of your shell is 41mm the Hope should be fine.

BTW, treat yourself and go for ceramic bearings.
