Le Havre to Geneva Cycle

I'm in my second year at college and am hoping to cycle with some friends from Winchester (Near Southampton) to Geneva, after our exams have finished (We hope to leave near to the end of June). We were thinking that we would get the ferry from Portsmouth to Le Havre and follow a series of cycle routes that runs from Le Havre all the way to Digoin or Macon. Then it will just be one or two days riding to get to Geneva where we will stay for a while.

We were thinking that we try to cycle about 80 miles a day for about 9/10 days and camp each night.
Any advice on a route to take, using the cycle paths, accommodation, food or anything else would be greatly appreciated.
