Campag Athena front mech questions

Is it correct that the shifter has three clicks up to the big chain ring but only one coming back down? So there is no facility to trim when using the big ring?
Can the Athena shifter be used with an 11 speed Record front mech?

    Yes thats perfectly normal, and Campag actually stipulate that it should be 3 clicks to shift up into the big ring.

    As for running a SR derailleur, i don't see why not.

    would still be the same with SR front mech..

    changing the shifters would give 3 up 3 down
