Hi
Sorry for what may be a stupid question, but I ave a 2007 Madone which i'm lookiong to get a new groupset for. It currently has Ultegra but lookign to switch to SRAM. I know the BB is the trek 90mm pressfit and it obviously takes hollowtech II as it currently has shimano on it, but can anyone tell me if it will take GXP or BB30 in terms of the SRAM options? Have done a quick search but can's seem to find a difinitive answer. Is GXP basically the same size as Hollowtech II and so compatible with each other??
Cheers

I would assume it has a threaded bottom bracket and won't therefore take press-fit bearings... which is great news, as the latter are rubbishleft the forum March 20230

Quick look on Trek site, it just says 90mm integrated BB.0 -
Are you sure it's BB90? I'm not saying it isn't, but I think only the high end models had it back in 2007 so it may not.
If it is, you need the GXP bearing kit: http://www.trekbikes.com/pdf/owners_man ... 062309.pdf
You cannot fit a BB30 crank in a BB90 frame.
If it's threaded, you just need an English threaded GXP bottom bracket.0 -

You're welcome. I think you're right that it's BB90 btw. The 5.2s did have it in 2007.0
