which makes clipping back in when wearing overshoes etc less than smooth (as you have to 'toe them round' first) - and can make one look like a bit of a div in the chaingang.
Is there an easy way to remedy this and do Keo make a pedal that more reliably returns to vertical?

I had something similar - I suspect you'll have some grit in the bearings.

2 approaches (as I understand it) that you can take.

    1. squirt a bit of GT85 into it and wiggle it around until its smooth again (which is what I did). Not too much though or you wash the grease out

    2. Apparently you can disassemble the axle and regrease fully. But there are stories about stripping the spindle here so (which is why I choose option 1).
