Hi

Finally i bought the Norco A1 threshold. The bike is fantastic, i feel very confortable, but, comparing the results with the falconer, i can see that my average speed is 3 km/h faster in a 25 road route with the falconer

shouldnt i be supossed to be faster with this bike?

  • How many rides have you taken the average of to get the figure?

I think I would take it back for a refund. Sounds faulty to me.
  • Comparing the 'speed' of two bikes is very difficult. Especially in winter wearing many layers and lots of wind. You need to have lots of rides to have a sound 'average'.

Besides all the above, this is the CX forum! Who cares about speed, its about the mud!!!!

I think the problem is the size of the bike... i had a 54 in the falcon and i have bought a 57 in the norco, so the steam is too high and the saddle cant be too high

Im 1.79cm and my inner leg is 86cm, so, all those tables that gives you the right size of the frame are rubbish
  • how have you found norco looking at one but notsure
