Frame cable guide shired screw

The screw that's inside the cable guide has shired. Anyone got any tips on how to get this out? Drilling through it is my only idea

Whilst the user experience comments are average I did successfully use one to extract a stripped chainring bolt. Obviously all will hinge on how big a diameter hole you have to play with.

I've got part of it out my knocking a small flat screw driver into it and twisting but part of it is still in and I think I've knackered the thread

I'm running the cable through without the barrel adjuster now.
