Does anyone know of any links to guides on complete Campag brake caliper overhaul. Current version. It's sticking quite badly. Given it a good scrub, degunked it and lubed but it soon goes crap again. I think it needs completely taking apart to regrease rather than runny lube that washes away.

The park tools one doesn't seem to go that far with the overhaul.

If you find a nut or bolt, undo it!

But seriously, that's all you do. The trouble I have with the dual pivot is that I can't manage to free the centre pivot bolt. The outer is fine (and sorting that out does make a difference but still not as good as new). I'm not sure it is seized as I have a low mileage one to compare with and that one doesn't want to play either.

surely there is some specifics around the tightness of the bolts and order of disassembly.

If you can find more than one way to take them apart then you have more ingenuity than I have. As for tightness - imagine a world without torque wrenches! If it's too tight, the caliper arms won't move. If it's too loose, there will be lateral play.
