Shims don't fit fork

Hi all Im looking to get into dh more so I thought getting new forks for my vp free frame ( newbie no sense as u can tell) so I found some cheap drop off triples to get the feel of dh I've also bought shims to fit my fork to frame but the fork isn't the right fit for the 1.5 - 1 1/8 shims even tho I've searched the drop off triples on google which say they are 1 1/8 anyone got any advice or ideas on how I can sort this cheers

    What have you bought?

    I would not be using and "shims" with fitting any forks.

  • What do u suggest I do new forks? New frame? Is there anything I can do?

    Presuming your frame has a tapered headset you just need a new bottom headset cup.
