Hello,
I am aiming for Monaco this spring (as soon at it warms up and we have less rain) and wonder if anyone can advise me on a cycle friendly route through France. I plan on camping, but I'm also looking for any key places that might be useful for a good nights sleep (must be cheap) and a good clean etc.
If anyone has done this route please get in touch
Thanks for taking time to read this

I did France north to south about 8 years ago. To give me somewhere to aim for, I chose to visit as many cathedrals as possible. There are a lot in France.
I suggest you think about something you are interested in and look for these on the way.
Youth Hostels will be the cheapest place to sleep. Obviously camping is a good option, but I sendom used my tent as my sleeping bag wasn't really up to the low temperatures (I did it in April).
I ended up using trains to skip sections that looked a bit boring - and my time was limited.
You can see my route etc here...

Buy the Michelin road atlas of France. It's cheap and shows most of the small roads - often prefixed with D.
