New Wheels

Hi all,

I'm looking at getting some new wheels for training/sportive use so stiff and light on a budget is what I'm really after!! Could probably stretch to £420 +- a few bob if they're really worth it!

I've had a quick look around and found these:
http://www.sigmasport.co.uk/item/Shiman ... G7?wmp=255
http://www.sigmasport.co.uk/item/3T-Cyc ... SJ?wmp=255
http://www.sigmasport.co.uk/item/Fulcru ... 1J?wmp=255
(I don't have to go to SigmaSport, just found some good bargains there in the past!)

I'd rather go for stiffness and reliability over weight as I'm only 63kg myself and have quite powerful legs from time trials / triathlon but taking a year off racing to enter sportives and do some climbing. Any suggestions for different wheels would be more then welcome.

I have some Hed 6 wheels for racing but not sure about racing sportives on them?

Cheers,
Rich

Oh yeah, they'll need to take an 11sp cassette...

Deadi, I'd suggest using the search feature. You'll fine a number of threads asking a similar question, have a look at the advice given. Cheers

Unless your going to spend big bucks on a set of mega light climbing wheels just use the Jet 6's. Plenty of folk using carbon/alloy clinchers years round.

The HED 6 are coming towards the end of their life. I've trained for and raced few ironman events on them now so they're due a rebuild! These wheels would be for training/commuting as my current wheels are buggered. I've been hit by a car recently but more importantly the bearings are fudged...

Will have a search round... I'm new to all this forum stuff so I'm guessing UTFS means use the ******** search!?

    Cheers anyway all!
