helicoil for lefty fork

hi all,
Can anyone help me with a problem with my lefty fork, I removed the wheel and a spring came out as well, I have since found out its called a helicoil and its 10 x1 mm, Having purchased some helicoil s I'm having trouble trying to screw the helicoil into the hub. Has anyone got any ideas as to do this.

Did you just buy some Helicoils or did you buy the tools needed to fit them as well?


I guess not.

Go find a bike shop that can or an engineers workshop.

Aye, unless you're going to be using helicoils regularly it's much cheaper just to pay a fiver for a one off, rather than buy a kit.
