Hi all. Is there a disadvantage in terms of breaking performance if you have to use an adaptor to mount post mount caliper to IS mount on forks. I'm just thinking in terms of rigidity. :?:

You don't really have a choice anyway.

It sounds like you have IS mount forks and are considering which calliper to use?

An IS calliper will save you about 35grams in not needing an adaptor and 2 extra bolts, otherwise there is no benefit of IS over PM. (I have an IS calliper on the front of my commuter and one on the rear of my MTB and the weight savings were 34 and 35g respectively compared to a PM plus adaptor, but in each case I wasn't swapping out it's just I bought one instead of the other).
