Looking at getting a new bike, was really impressed with the Wilier GTR with Veloce components but also like the L'Etape, the GTR was very light. Anyone got any advice would very helpful! Thanks

Been offered a good deal on Wilier, either would be on Cycle to work scheme, I know about Dolans great rep, and the fact that you buy them direct from then cuts costs, but which is the better bike for triathlons, and holding its value?

The rrp of the Wilier is half the price again over the Dolan, looking at the specs the Dolan comes with the full Campagnolo groupset minus the cassette whilst the Wilier has Campagnolo shifters and derailleurs and a mix of FSA and Miche components.Road - http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12777154&p=16943702#p16943702

I was quoted £1350 for Wilier yesterday, is Dolan simply the better bike?Wilier GTR and Italian Tifosi Stalion0

The Dolan has multiple spec options ie Campag, SRAM or Shimano group sets and wheel choices, the Willier comes as advertised, they are both nice bikes though IMO.0

Mmm, they are saying the price will go up for the Wilier next week for the model, as it is discounted only in store, it looks a racier bike with its flatter frame, but the actual weights are similiar, can get to the dolan shop in 2 weeks to make a proper decision, cancelled my voucher for the Wilier for nowWilier GTR and Italian Tifosi Stalion0

I seen one over the Christmas holidays and fell in love with it.
The shop was pushing for the sale offering me the size medium (only size in stock) which I thought looked too big for me. So this weekend I'm off to a different shop to try out both a Small and Medium with a professional bike fit thrown in.
So far it looks very likely that I will be putting a deposit down on one this weekend but I might upgrade the wheelset at the same time........0
