Hi all

Anyone use anything like this?

Just thinking it might stiffen the rear of my Stumpy FSR a bit?

Cheers

What an expensive thing to do. You will need a new wheel to use it.

  • Just a conversion kit for Hope Pro 2 which I have anyway.

I'm a big fecker and just noticed a bit of flex at the rear of my bike. If it won't help I won't bother. If it might help then I might waste my money on it.

So really you want to know what the best way to stiffen up the rear on your FSR with a Hope Pro 2?

    So options you have are

    10mm through axel.
    12mm reducer to 10mm.
    Or the 10mm bolted version.

I tested and still have one ov the original 10mm bolted hope Bulb hubs. Way better than a Qr. But this was a few year back.

  • Yeah, thats what I was getting at. Cheers for the info.

I've come from a hardtail, Carbon 456, which had a pretty solid rear end so I might just need to get used to having a bit less rigidity in the back end. Good to know it helped a bit though.
