Hello All,
I just got a Whyte 905 (2012) and I would like to buy a pair of tires for commuting in the city.
Please suggest me an appropriate set of tires.
Ideally I would like them to be durable and a good value for money since I will be using them in most occasions to travel from home to the office and back, but I'm open to suggestions.
Thank you in advance for your time and help!
Cheers,
Ilias

Are you looking for a particular width at all?
I have been using these for just over a year, and only got my first puncture on them last week, and that was only because i was speeding down some fireroad.
Amazing tyre in my opinion. You will go like the clappers on these. They are super light and still puncture resistant (for me anyway) Rolling resistance is near enough nill. They look awesome, and...wait for it....only £10!!!

or 2.0 width here for not much more, but ive only used 1.4 and cant recommend them enough.

Many thanks!!
I think that this is exactly what I need!
And the price is just amazing....
To be honest this is my first bike after 7 years so I'm not sure at all about the thickness.
My only question is, how are they copping when the rain?0 -
Rain doesn't matter - bike tires are too narrow to aquaplane.I don't do smileys.

Schwalbe Marathon Plus, not one puncture in ten years of commuting.
The are really good in the rain.0
