New fork and tyres

I'm looking to buy a new mtb fork I am currently running a
Rockshox recon silver
Just wanted some recommendations, prefer ably rockshox
Been looking at revelation and Reba

Also looking to buy some new tyres but not sure what the max width is for my rims
-Giant S-XC29 2 rims

Without a budget, it's not easy to tell you what to buy, but if money allows, the new Rockshox Pikes are meant to be moreorless unbeatable.

As for tyre sizes, I believe on most 29ers the limiting factor is going to be the space between the tyre and the frame, more than the width of the of the rim. Have a look at your existing setup and see what the clearance is like currently.

Sorry forgot to say budget is about £400 ish
Clearance on the frame is fine the fork should allow for a slightly wider tyre aswell

You might mention travel as well. Recons will be short travel XC. Pikes are not.
