    I assume they could be sprayed etc.

    But, don't most waterproofing solutions tend to make things stiffer/brittle?

    I find it hard to believe that a cardboard based helmet could be made to withstand sweat and rain. At least, not with a very long life span, and I'm sure a mulchy helmet can't be good for you! :lol:
